We hired Steel City Sound -Matt for our corporate Christmas Party. Matt was friendly and approachable. Before the Party got started matt was sure to connect with me on details of the event. After dinner Matt played music that immediately got people on the dance floor and never left. People danced all night with no lulls. We hired Matt to DJ our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and he did a 10/10 job! He made the pre-wedding planning process a breeze and had a lot of great knowledge and experience to add. The dancing portion of our reception was perfect and he catered the song choices to what we had discuss - every song he picked kept everyone up on the dance floor. I would book Matt again for any future event in a heart beat!
I can't recommend Gordon from Steel City Sound highly enough! Additionally, Matt, the owner, was incredibly helpful during the planning process, making everything seamless. On the day of the event, Gordon brought such amazing energy and worked perfectly with our MC to ensure everything ran smoothly. Our guests were on the dance floor all night, and we received so many compliments about the music. If you’re looking for a fantastic DJ, look no further than Steel City Sound!
The sound setup was perfect. Volume levels were always right where they needed to be. Matthew (our DJ) worked with us at every step to ensure the right feel and song choices. He got our weirdness and worked to make the music perfect. Throughout the night he was reading the room and getting the vibes of the crowd and adjusted the music accordingly.
