I had my Smog done at Steed Auto Repair and it was probably the best experience I've ever had. The service is quick and courteous. And, although my car failed the test, John was very patient in explaining what needed to be done. I feel that John could've easily made extra money becasue I asked him to fix the problem; however, he firmly suggested a way for me to fix the problem at no additional cost and it worked. car died and i was lucky to find Steed Auto Repair. came in and they were able to replace my starter motor the same day. honest shop charging a fair price for their labor. from start to finish the explained to me what diagnostic they did, what the problem was, the solution and also future repair recommendations. my only regret is that i don't live closer to Steed. solid shop and i'm definitely keeping their number.
First off, just a bunch of nice friendly people working there. Ken Grody Ford recommended I go there to have an issue with my 1992 e-150 club wagon resolved. Because of its age it does not have a OBD plug to put a code reader into. And I've had an intermittent " check engine" light coming on, for years! My friend owns a Goodyear dealership and has good mechanics, been going there for decades, literally, but his guys couldn't find the fault. It was just so darn intermittent.
