Hailed by many as "Hell's Kitchen's best new restaurant, " Stecchino nails the basics: "great food at reasonable prices. " A lively staff serves sophisticated comfort food and "fantastic " hand-crafted cocktails, a "solid " wine-list and ten carefully selected beers on tap. Good music and classic movies playing silently on the TV create a comfortable setting for a group of friends or an intimate dinner for two. Menu highlights: Chicken and Eggplant Parmesan, a selection of homemade pastas, fresh seafood, a New York strip Ste... read more

Great seafood! – Went here with the boyfriend using a Groupon - $25 for $50 with a minimum of 2 people at the table. I wasn't sure what to expect because it's relatively new and the only reason I knew it was because I pass it every time I go to my favorite, Casellula. Though their cocktails looked great, unfortunately we were too late for their good looking happy hour and we wanted to keep the bill as close to $50 as possible, we didn't get any drinks. We started with the crab cake appetizer and it was wonderful. Two large-i... read more
Really loved this place – We wondered around the area looking for something not so fussy and found Stecchino. The place wasnt' crowded at all but after walking past acres of "fusion" and too many thai places to count, we gave it a shot. The service was wonderful, the food was great. We started with crab cakes and fried oysters, both perfect. For the main entrees we had the steak salad, tuna, and lobster raviolis. The whole bill for 3 ppl, including drinks, was $150 with tip. We were all glad we gave it a chance. I'm just sor... read more
Agreed – While the last reviewer didn't write much, I can understand why. And I can also understand the first review... Everything about this restaurant is OK. The decor is ok, the food is ok. Actually the service was excellent now that I'm going through the checklist in my mind. The food was priced fairly well, although the $10 for the NZ wine seemed high in comparison. Went because I had a groupon & it's near bf's apartment. We had fried oysters which were yummy, a frisee salad that was very good (but would have been hard ... read more
Great deal for this place on groupon today – great discount!!!
Stecchi-NOOOOOOO!!! – Oh my. This is obviously a new restaurant. The freshly printed menus and the morgue atmosphere gave it away. Launching a restaurant in the middle of a recession is a bit difficult, but Stecchino at least got one thing right - the price of the dishes - $13-$24 ish, they won't break the bank. However, while I give them top marks for figuring out that the customer needs to feel they got value for $ in this economy, I give them zero marks for hiring a chef whose main achievement in life appears to be the ab... read more
