Dr. Stearn has been the neighborhood dentist for years. Never had a problem with him until my adult years. He hustled me back & forth for simple things that could have been done together in 1 visit as if it was about insurance $$ moreso than quality service. Then in 2020, i got a root canal that took 3 visits. Now the same tooth is cracked & I'm in pain 2 years later. I will return to him to get my records transferred to another dentist. I hope his office wont give me a problem transferring to another dentist as others exper... read more
He's very nice, but please don't go if you need anything more than a very simple cleaning or a referral to another dr. He does nothing. I've been complaining of tooth breakage and gum recession and other things for YEARS and this office did exactly nothing to help me.
The staff is courteous, Dr. Stearn is thorough, but cautious, not rushing into unnecessary work like some dentists I've encounted. He saved me from a root canal, opting for a more conservative approach of simply repairing the filling that I had, when another dentist had assured me that I was in need of one (and maybe even two) root canals. I trust Dr. Stearn completely.
