Been working here since 2019, and I would not recommend working here, this review is being posted in response to being silenced at work. We've lost a lot over the past few years such as performance reviews, were we would usually get a 25 or 50 cent raise, that seems to be entirely gone and my last performance review was in 2019 or 2021 I believe. I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service I received. The two employees working after 4 PM on Thursday, July 10, 2025, were incredibly rude and unprofessional. Their attitude was unacceptable—they were dismissive, lacked basic empathy, and clearly had no regard for customer service. What’s even worse is that there seems to be clear favouritism in your hiring practices. I can only say great things about Toronto bathhouses that work closely with community groups to make sure guys have access to condoms, lube, testing and other sexual health info! Steamworks is one of them. I've worked 37 years in HIV and really appreciate Steamworks for their readiness to talk to local groups doing work in HIV.
