It Has a great view and atomsphere. Salad was horrible but the manager dropped it off the bill. Would try again.
The view of the ocean from the windows was breathtaking. The service was fast and friendly. It was a week night and the place was still relatively busy. The salad was fresh and the meal was good, especially the Australian Lobster. An atmosphere of elegance, a bit on the pricey side but well worth it in my opinion.
Yummy!! My husband and I always stop here when we are visiting Pismo Beach. We try to make reservations around sunset for a window seat. You can look over the ocean and watch the sunset. It's beautiful. The seafood is good. The clam chowder is delicious. Highly recommend it.
Fine Seafood, great views! We always go to steamers when we are in Pismo. Their clam chowder is outrageously good. Last visit we went once for lunch, the next day for dinner (and we were only there 3 days)! Their fish is always fresh as well. The views are straight out on to the pacific!
A beautiful view does not a great restaurant make! – While on a short weekend trip to Pismo, I visited Steamers with some family. Being that the restaurant is right on the beach, you would assume that their seafood is top notch...not so! Our waiter had absolutely no grasp of the menu whatsoever. BE PREPARED FOR A BIG BILL AND BAD FOOD – Went to this place because it was recommended..WHY...I do not know. I ordered seafood platter. I got two small shrimp, two breaded calms or could of been oysters (?) And two small pieces fish... And it was piled up on a hugh heaping over flowing plate of french fries that had been cooked at least 6 times before they were served to me. I love Steamers. The view is beautiful, overlooking Pismo Beach. The food is great, and they serve my favorite clam chowder anywhere! I also love the chicken sandwich, and of course they have great seafood! The service is always excellent!
Faked Seafood Restaurant – Terrible seafood restaurant. If you want imitation crab meat, go to Steamers. We ordered a lunch special dish, seafood omelet with crab and shrimp. It came with imitation crab meat and tiny bay shrimp. At least the waitress was honest saying she thinks it was imitation crab meat when we questioned her. Amazing seafood & view – Wow! I would say this is the best seafood I have had, ever. I had the Ono (whatever that is, it's some sort of white fish) with a "Japanese salsa" it consisted of creamed wasabi, mixed with a mild salsa of some sort. That was placed on wasabi mashed potatoes and some perfectly cooked steamed asparagus. We had New Zealand mussels as an appetizer. Yum!!
