Probably the worst customer service experience I've ever had for a mountain resort here in Colorado. You book your lift tickets in advance just to have Lee Lee Clemente from reservations team email you and tell you the mountain will be closed due to "maintenance" but the following day is just fine and that I need to move my ticket to then. I was reassured this was a safety measure for the guests but it sounds like a money play for the mountain. Truly Disappointed.
Steamboat is one of the few resorts that will actually talk to you on the phone and put together an entire package for you. So many other resorts only do lodging and you have to call somewhere else to do ski school or lift tickets or transfers....or figure it all out online yourself a la carte- style and you may inadvertently miss good package deals that way. I just had a great experience with Steamboat Central Reservations customer service. Mary was very knowledgeable and helpful! I've experienced some longer wait times during ski season, but I think that is to be expected. We are very happy with SCR and will book again!
