Great haircut by a true craftsman
Without a doubt this is the best barber shop in Steamboat, the Yampa Valley, NW Colorado, and maybe even the state. This dude straight up gave me the best haircut of my life. It actually changed the way I viewed myself and my hair. My only complaint would be he ruined other barbers for me because I don’t want anyone else to do my hair now. A 5-star barber demonstrates 2 key qualities, and Calder at Steamboat Barbershop delivers both in spades. First is an all star cut - not an easy feat when I’m a mid 40s dude hanging onto my remaining hairs for dear life. Second is authenticity in a real barber chair in a real shop, talking with someone who’s got life experience and willing to share it (when you want). Stop reading an book an appt.
This place has terrible service and the owner is very rude. I made an appointment online on Facebook and he proceeded to see you say that I didn’t have an appointment terrible system that they have very unorganized and he was very rude and said he said he couldn’t get me in till tomorrow, as a tourist that’s very terrible service. I give these people one star if I can give them zero I would.
