Kary was such a fantastic find! I gathered a bunch of girlfriends in Steamboat for (most of) our first time for my birthday. I was having such a hard time finding a baker to respond to my inquires but also with the drive from Denver wanted to support someone local. Kary was very responsive and clearly communicated. The cake was absolutely gorgeous and the flavors were out of this world. Seriously. We're all still talking about this cake 4 months later! Could not recommend a better baker!
We had a raspberry and cream cake and gluten free cupcakes for my uncle’s birthday. The cake was by far the best cake we have had in a long time! It reminded me of our wedding cake. Light fluffy and flavorful. Perfect buttercream frosting and the raspberries were a lovely compliment. Can’t wait for the next event so we can order another cake!
We had a family emergency and I told her not to make my cake. She said she “didn’t see the message” and told me To pick up my cake because it was ready. I did t get to ever pick up my son’s cake for his 2nd birthday and she didn’t refund even 1 penny. Go somewhere else to have your cakes made.

Kathy at Steamboat Baker is incredible! She took the time to collaborate with us, helping refine a design that perfectly captured our vision—and she pulled it off beautifully. Not only was the cake stunning, but it also tasted absolutely delicious. Highly recommend her for any special occasion!
