I scheduled Steam King Inc. for a carpet steam cleaning on a Thursday afternoon. The crew never arrived, and after three calls I was placed on hold for over 15 minutes each time. No one called back, and I had to reschedule for a week later, which also turned into a no‑show. Their customer service is virtually nonexistent, leaving my carpets still stained and my schedule ruined. I wouldn’t trust them with any cleaning work.

Steam King quoted me $180 for a whole‑house steam clean, which seemed reasonable. When the crew arrived, they added a “pre‑treatment” charge of $70 and a “travel surcharge” of $50 without any prior notice. The final invoice hit $300, and they refused to provide a detailed breakdown. I asked for a written estimate before work began, but they claimed it was “standard practice” to bill after completion. The lack of transparency feels like a money‑grab rather than honest service.

After Steam King performed a deep steam clean on my upholstery, the stains reappeared within two days. I called for warranty service, and they sent a technician who simply re‑ran the same steam cycle—no extra cleaning solution was used. The stains came back again, forcing me to hire another company to properly treat the fabric. Very happy with the results. They did a fantastic job on our carpets. Nice, friendly and informative. Great value for the price. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely use them again.
