You may dine in or take advantage of their drive-thru. The prices are higher than most drive-thru restaurants. You can usually find coupons in the Sunday paper that usually save you a buck or two. Coupons are often present on KU basketball tickets.
Steak n Shake Nasty I ate the grosses Chicken sandwich ever at Steak n Shake. It was like eating rubber I was very disappointed. They overprice and I would rather eat at MC Donald's than there.
Good most of the time We have found this Steak n Shake to be hit and miss. We very often only see our waitress until she brings our food, then never again. The food is always good, and the variety is wonderful--something for everyone. PROS: Good food CONS: Little costly, not the best wait staff

It took the waitress 5-10 minutes before she took our drink order and it took awhile for the food to come. She gave us our order with the ticket and we never saw her again. You decide.

Best Meal at Midnight Very clean store, open 24 hours. Best place in Dalton to get a meal at midnight or later - none of the other 24 hour places can compete. Good breakfast menu. Some prices are a bit too high and the burgers ARE thin - but they have to be made thin to get the great crispy edges. Order a double or triple, the single is just for kids and old ladies. Onion rings rock, and the shakes are incredible. PROS: Onion rings, cleanliness, open 24 hours. CONS: Some prices are a bit high.
