I rode for decades in several different states and spent quite a bit of time here-they were a second home to me and I think of this place often. I learned so much from Sara and after years of being out of the saddle I was told by a barn owner here in Philadelphia that she could see how strong of a ridder I was (before I had kids haha)-I give that credit to this barn💕 Great place, very knowledgeable and wonderfully good hearted people.
I love Walking M Stables. I have been riding for several years but have learned so much from my instructor Sara. She is very patient and helps to build my confidence while still challenging my ability. She is very knowledgeable and I would recommend her to anyone.
I have had a relationship with Walking M Stables for approx 9 years. I have nothing but praise for Sara and her facility. Sara has tought my child self confidence, dicipline, respect of others, along with barn management, horseback riding, grooming, and healthcare of the horses. I came to look at a horse for a friend and I have to say this place is great!
this place was TERRIBLE! i brought my daughter here i was regretful. they made her ride in circles every lesson. and the people there were awful. DO NOT let you child ride here!
Sara Morris, the owner and operator of Steadfast Stables (formerly Walking M Stables) and her senior staff of riding instructors make up the BEST horse barn in Roanoke! As someone who has now been riding for 9 years, I have to HIGHLY recommend Steadfast Stables to everyone and anyone I talk to about riding! This place is the worst place that I have ever experienced. I would not recomend it to anyone!
At age 53, I decided to fulfill a childhood dream of riding horses. I was brought to Walking M by a friend who boarded her horse there and took a lesson. I have been there ever since. What I like most was the emphasis on safety first. The owner, Sara Morris took on the challenge of getting an "old lady" in the saddle.
