I know that in order to get better I have to feel the pain. Matt knew how much he had to push me to get my knee better and not hate his guts. Well, maybe just a little. But that was probably a good thing. I will always feel grateful to the staff at StayFIT Aiea.

It was heartbreaking when it was suggested by the Aiea Clinic to stay home and get p/t at home. My former home therapist insisted that there is no more that she can do. Outpatient is where I need to be. I am in Straub Physical Therapy and it is really helping me to the next level.
I’m 68 and was suffering from runners knee, which I recently developed from shooting baskets 3-4 times a week for about 90 minutes per day. My goal was to get the knee back to basketball ability, not just every day walking or climbing stairs. My physical therapist was Matt Ishii and he was absolutely excellent and I would HIGHLY recommend him if you end up at StayFIT for your PT.
