Couple of lamps didn’t work, a little bit of peeling or dirty paint... but really any minor issue with the room itself (and there are others) ended up being massively unimportant when compared to the rest of the experience. Stay Alfred is clearly intended for large groups who want to throw massive, all-night parties. There’s no onsite staff, no security or housekeeping, so it’s ideal for anyone looking for a location to throw a party and not be disturbed. Great location, spacious, bright, clean, and functional. If you arrive before check-in, go to the Stay Alfred on Factory Row, they have a front desk and luggage storage - the staff was kind, service-oriented, and gracious (Anthony found us confused on the street looking for the door and went out of his way to walk with us and make sure we found the desk and luggage storage- quickly changing a frustrating moment into a warm New Orleans welcome and smiles.)
