Just wanted to give a shout out to Taylor ,who i dealt with ,in regards to pre admission for a procedure at the Stawell hospital. My family and i drove up to Halls gap the night prior from Ballarat , only to be told the procedure had been cancelled , due to the lack of communication from the Ballarat eye clinic. Each time i have spoken to Taylor , she has given me the utmost time , respect and been so helpful in dealing with a frustrating situation. Really?! The nurse in the front just gaslighted me by saying that I wasn’t following what my care plan is after I presented myself at the emergency room with pain that isn’t usual for me. Then they said they could bring me in “if I really wanted to” But there wasn’t anything else they could do for me. I don’t see the point of hospitals anymore if I am just gonna get told that “I am not following the protocols” When I try everything & nothing works & I just end up in pain again. I have attended the Stawell hospital on multiple occasions for ongoing health issues and the staff have been always wonderful, providing the highest quality, friendly and timely care, I have always felt heard and listened to. The hospital and staff are a great asset to the Stawell community and couldn't thank them enough for their care they have provided to me.
