My husband and I have had the most amazing experience seeking treatment from Dr. Stauffer for my husband's heart problems. First, his office staff is so caring and helpful. My first call was over lunch and I had to leave a message. My call was returned within two hours - and we were able to set our appointment with Dr. Stauffer for the following week. On Friday, June 13, 2025 I called to schedule an appointment to have a loop recorder removed that Dr. Stauffer had implanted. I was told that the nurse who handled the scheduling was gone for the day but she would call me on Monday. Monday came and went without a call back. A month and a half later, on Friday, July 25th I called again, and was once again told that the nurse who handled that was gone and would call me on Tuesday. Please do not trust this individual with your cardiological care. He is not reliable and frankly I have no confidence. Poor bedside manner, does not seem very knowledgeable in his field, and constant cancelling and rescheduling of appointments on short notice - though they are very strict about their refund/no show policy for patients… There are certainly better options.
