I bought a LADIES PETIT DEJEUNER WATCH for my wife for this past Valentine’s Day. The watch stopped working a couple weeks after I gave it to her. We thought it was the battery so I replaced it. Didn’t work. I sent an email to customer service and didn’t hear back. I tried calling and they were busy. I emailed again and got a response saying that the 30-day warranty had expired but I could buy a 1-year service plan for $17.95 and they would replace it. Through AARP magazine add, I purchased a watch that I thought would be the same as the image on the add. The wrist strap was too small and the watch was smaller than the advertised image. I called to return it and was told to use a return label that supposed to be in the packaging, but there wasn’t any label. So I paid to return it, and out paid $95.00 the refunded me only $45.00 I am so disappointed at this company and hope more people would be cautious when buying from Stauer

Their jewelry is very nice,when you can get it. Waited 6 months for one order and I'm 4 months into waiting for another order. Get your shipping squared away and I'll rate you higher

Stauer could possibly have the worst customer service. For a company to sell what they call quality watches and jewelry, awful customer service. I will say it's gotten worse over the years. I bought a watch that I love. I bought a warranty for it. I sent the watch in on October to have it fixed or replaced. I specifically asked them to take the links out that I had paid for on the original watch. Over 3 months later, I received my watch, with the links not being taken out. I have bought more than a few items from Stauer over the years. Mainly jewelry for my wife. The quality is consistent with the price you pay. It is pretty costume jewelry. BUT ... the way they promote their pricing is deceptive at best and dishonest at worst, in my opinion. First, hardly any one with common sense in going to believe they are selling a $300 item for $100. But worse, is their shipping fee. $25 to mail a lady's ring? Really? Then on top of that, they want an extra $5 to "insure it" blaming it on the post office... read more
