I wish I had read the reviews before placing an order with Stauer. I would have saved myself a lot of time and frustration. My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. When contacting customer service, I had to wait approximately 10 minutes before being connected with an agent. Unfortunately, the customer service experience did not improve once I reached someone. Stauer started sending me promotional US mail, despite me never having bought anything from them. I've contacted them several times requesting they stop over the past few months, and they haven't. I'll change this review if they stop sending me junkmail.
I bought a LADIES PETIT DEJEUNER WATCH for my wife for this past Valentine’s Day. The watch stopped working a couple weeks after I gave it to her. We thought it was the battery so I replaced it. Didn’t work. I sent an email to customer service and didn’t hear back. I tried calling and they were busy. I emailed again and got a response saying that the 30-day warranty had expired but I could buy a 1-year service plan for $17.95 and they would replace it.
