Take a reference photo of exactly what you want! I already have short hair (about shoulder length when I went in) and asked for a trim and ended up with my hair being like 2 inches long. Quite confused how the stylist interpreted a trim to chop multiple inches off. Also felt a bit unprofessional as she answered a personal phone call in the middle of the haircut. First and last time here.
