RecommendedThis shop is great! It’s tucked out of the way but not too far out, worth stopping in if you’re on the hunt for a used bike. They helped me pick one out, making sure it fit my specifications and we found one that was also priced just right. I grabbed a new seat and a lock and I was ready to go!! Not owning a bike rack (yet) the owner was able to, and kind enough, to drop the bike off at my apartment on his way home - amazing level of service, which you would NEVER find at a big box store. I rarely give bad reviews - or believe in giving them - so it's notable that I'm doing this! The Avenue Bicycle Station is the kind of business I'd like to support. But I'll avoid them with everything I have. EVERY time I've gone in they've messed up on some level. They do shoddy work and charge high prices. And they could care less about the customer. They close frequently early without warning. They're rude and unapologetic. They've charged me twice on my credit card - and I had to be the one to notice the error. In short:... read more
Dropped in this afternoon because the crank on my bike was making noise. They were able to fix the issues in less than 20 minutes for a reasonable price. I was able to ride my bike back home without problems. Very happy with their service and will definitely be returning in the future!
