Seems like a lovely place to live and in a good location. But you will be overcharged for water/trash. Everything is new but also very cheaply made - flooring, carpet, window blinds, etc. It doesn't feel like home because of the constant "inspections" or changing HVAC filters. The manager is more like a Warden - threatening to go door to door with the cops because someone smelled pot in the hallway - really. I have just recently moved into the Station Street Apartments of Big Lake and could not be more satisfied. The whole complex is very clean inside and out and very well kept in every way. It is a quiet complex and has very decent neighbors that I have met so far. There are many amenities also that make it extra nice to live here, as in a outdoor pool- b.b.q area/tables- playground- elevators- pet friendly- exercise room- movie theater room- secure package room- large laundry room and a community room for events to use free! I really enjoy the apartment complexes and all the amenities, The appliances in the units are nice and updated, the location is great, and management is extremely easy to work with!
I lived here with my boyfriend for 3 years (2022-2025). We overall had a good experience! Kim the property manager always responded in a timely manner and was kind and respectful to us. We deep cleaned our apartment at move out and got most of the deposit back, they only charged what was reasonable. Docking a star because it was a little expensive, the laundry dryers barely worked, and we could hear neighbors clearly through the walls and floor.
Do not except your security deposit back. I cleaned the entire apartment but Station Street claimed I did not. Also, Walls and ceilings are thin you can here everything your neighbor does.
