First time at airport. Wife and I bought tickets to ride in WW 11 B-29 bomber "Doc" only 1 of 2 remaining flyable. Once in a lifetime experience. Had headsets that allowed us to hear all pilot's combinations from checklists to FAA communications. We crawled through the entire plane after our flight ✈️. Doc flies throughout the states exposing and educating people on our history. Thank you to all our men and women who served so that we can enjoy life today.
The recent visit of B-29 “Doc” was excellent. Statesville proved to be the perfect spot for an event like this. Well-managed and well-attended throughout, the event was one which Statesville can be very proud of.
Airport is the hub of a group of individuals who call themselves a civil Air patrol when in reality they are nothing more than a bunch of overprivileged rich white men and their kids who have taken it upon themselves to harass an innocent Port native of Mooresville because he spoke out against them and has called them out for not only violating his privacy but others as well there's no reason or justification to warrant this harassment individual has done nothing wrong and has no history of drug use or criminal background ho... read more
