I recently stayed at the Statesman Motor Inn and while the property itself is a little run down, the experience was completely transformed by the incredible manager, Josie. She is the only staff member running the place and yet somehow manages to keep everything going with tireless energy and genuine care. A comfortable stop over point. It was convenient for my travels to various wineries of the Rutherglen region. Walking distance to town and good food options.
A large group of us had the best service at the Statesman Motor Inn recently. Josie was an unbelievable host. Nothing was too much trouble , even driving our disabled friend to and from eating places. This is the best place to stay while exploring Corowa and Rutherglen.
Had a 2 day stay recently at the Statesman & it was a great experience! Our lovely host Josie was so accommodating & friendly! Rooms were very clean & the beds super comfy!!
Great find in an engaging town. Corowa has some interesting history and we found the Statesman to be a very comfortable base to explore the place. Our room was very clean and well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable and warm! Thanks Josie for turning on the electric blanket prior to our arrival. Loved the ample supply of hot water in the shower too! Very happy to recommend.
