I got waxing done with Skylar and it was a fantastic experience! Skylar pays attention to all the little hairs, left very little wax behind, has a gentle hand, and makes pleasant conversation. As an added benefit, she has this awesome comfortable heated table to lay on! I love to support this local business, over a chain like Purele, where I received far inferior service. I can’t say enough amazing things about State Street Salon! I moved nearby not too long ago and was in desperate need of a bang trim. Rachel was kind and helpful and I have been going to see her ever since! Both my husband and I agree she is the best and We won’t go anywhere else!
My son had a wonderful experience after having an awful experience at another local shop Angela took the extra time he needed she really cares about her clients. It's the only place anyone in my family will be getting haircuts from this point forward.
My Updo fell flat right before the wedding. the venue was right down the street and i wanted to come back in. They couldnt make time for someone to quick fix it before the walk down the isle. I would not recommend this place for important events. Also they had the same person doing everyone’s hair so it was a drawn out all day event. Would not recommend
