Buyer Beware of State Street Blinds and Design. My 83 year old mother was shocked to get a $230 bill to have her windows measured; $75 an hour and extra because a ladder was needed. She understood this service to be only $75 in total. Nothing was in writing; our mistake. After being told the blinds would be thousands of dollars, my mother told the owner she would be getting another quote.
