We have been in Nevada for several months, I was diagnosed with ADHD and had been medicated, but due to no insurance, could not get my meds. After months and numerous visits with other agencies, and none of them helping, I reached out to State of Nevada Rural Clinics in Fernley on a Thursday, was seen on Friday and referred out for medication management on Monday! This is how mental health care should be in Nevada! Kudos to Brittney and Ashley, you are Rock Stars!!!
I have been a patient at Fernley Rural clinic for 6 years. I recently missed an appointment due to a migraine. When asked about rescheduling my appointment I mentioned it needed to be on a Friday. The most recent Friday appointment they could get was one in early November. I asked about getting a single refill on my 3 meds, and they told me that Dr. Larusch would not refill until he sees me... in November.
