I've been with SECU for 13 years and never had a problem. I just found out they will not give loans to members that are not in a connecting state, even though I already have a auto loan with them now.
I've been a member of NCSECU for 30 years. Recently my debit card number was stolen. I received a text from NCSECU alerting me of possible fraud right away. I immediately let them know the charge was unauthorized. They still allowed it to go through. I called for help, and they gave me an email to contact. I sent all the receipts with proof that my information was stolen and NCSECU did not even respond. I've called and emailed many times with no response. Amazing service
Wasn't receiving mail due to changing address, called multiple times to try to change it over the phone but they couldn't accommodate. They closed the account due to "inactivity" and gave the balance to the state, saying it was my job to bring up the account status when I called.
Old main office on Wade Ave. Been doing business there for 15 years, never had a problem. Dewey is my banker and one of the finest people I have ever done banking with.
