I would recommend State Electric to anyone looking to have a home energy system installed. Our experience was excellent from start to finish. Had a GM Home Energy System along with a Level 2 EV Charger installed . The experience was seamless from start to finish. They finished the job one day early because of the Christmas season and our desire to have everything installed before the end of the year for tax incentives that expired January 1st. We just bought a house that was built in 1947 and added onto in 1980. Turned out the wiring in the older part of the house was cloth covered 2-wire (so no grounds) and the insulation under the cloth was crumbling when I was trying to install GFCI outlets. I called State Electric to see if they could evaluate the situation. Luke came out and did a primary inspection and we agreed that the 2-wire should be replaced with modern 3 wire Romex, and that the service entrance, main shut-off in the garage, main grounds, and the circu... read more
