May as well be a zero because they don’t honor active laws for service members and their spouses who are on active duties and forced to move to a state that they do not even wanna necessarily work in, but must to be able to provide a living. They know nothing about the service members relief civil act, and that spouses are under law able to work with an out-of-state yet active status and to be able to work in the state of Pennsylvania.

My experience with the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing was extremely frustrating. Compared to other states I’ve worked with, the process felt outdated, inefficient, and unnecessarily difficult to navigate. Communication was a major issue. Calls often went unanswered, and when I was able to get through, I did not receive clear or helpful guidance. If I could leave zero stars, I would. Absolutely horrible! They don't know what they're doing. You work extremely hard to get through nursing school, only for them to take 6 weeks to process your application before you're able to schedule your boards. People in my cohort submitted their application weeks after me, yet still got their code to sit for boards before me. Any time that you call, you get the same, "We review applications in the order that we receive them." LIES! What a nightmare this process has been!!
