We have recently visited SBI Sydney to get or reKYC form attested. Although we went there without an appointment, they were very kind enough to accept our application. In particular the staff at the Reception counter Prachi was extremely helpful. Her customer focused approach deserves a special mention. She is very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Very bad customer service from SBI. Me and my wife visited their branch in Sydney to open Nri account on 4 th November 2024 . Gave all the documents and courier fee. We were told it will take 4 to 6 weeks to get new account. Today is 24 January 2025. No progress till now. Twice we inquired about it through emails and all they do is just forward this mail to India. We haven’t got any feedback till now. Don’t know whom to blame but very bad service.
Would have loved to award a big ZERO if I had the option. Cannot reach anyone to get an update on my money transfer and they never call back. Appalling service.
