My personal experience has been this is just another equipment rental place that is just in it for the money. Their customer service is negligible, their sneaky pricing practices leave you with sticker shock by the time you get their bill and then they charge you and your insurance company 3 times what the actual equipment is even worth. They are ripoffs, plain and simple. If you have money to throw away, they're as good as any other rental joint and the same strong arm tactics.
I've had the very best customer service with Stat Medical. I've been on oxygen for 1 1/2 yrs., they've kept me on the best equipment I've ever seen. When I have a need for supplies, Rob is right there to help me. Sometimes they are a little slow to respond to a phone call, but they're busy helping other folks, so I never worry, I know they will get to me as quickly as they can. My kid went to see pediatric for cough at Pediatric Associates (http://www.mypediatricassociates.com/) at Bellevue. The nurse gave us Nebulizer from StatMedical and told it should be covered by your insurance company (Aetna EPO) and do not know price (We asked because we never got such supplier from doctor office). StatMedical is "smart" not to contact us for over 3 months (which will pass their return deadline and rent fee is much higher) then start keep sending bill and "collection agency".
