This is a great place to work. Sage Lafayette currently has the best management team it’s ever had. They recognize the little people (the backbone) for their hard work and it’s very appreciated. And the pay is better than pretty much anywhere else you could work. Only recommendation is for the nurses to stop all the gossiping in halls because patients can hear it and complain.
My husband Phil was only at St. Joseph Hospice for 4 days, but received wonderful care from the staff, they kept him comfortable and very clean until he passed January 1, 2023. I applaud the staff with their positive attitude in dealing with dying patients.!
Stat home PT is the worst possible experience. I wrote a bad review but it doesn't show up. Their PTA exposed me to covid the day he got a fever and a week later when he told me he had tested positive. He wore a mask that day and did not do exercises with me. He was upset that his company released him to work. In two weeks, I had a total of two PT exercise days. They discharged me and said it was Medicare fraud for me to receive home PT because I was so active. I am 70 and had a joint replacement, so I called Medicar... read more
This is the worst imaginable home physical therapy. I am 70 and had a joint replacement. The first PTA came 5 days after surgery and started exercises. Then he got a fever which turned out to be Covid. He returned to my home six days later and was upset that his company released him to work, so I was exposed twice. The staff at St. Joseph’s are amazing. They cared for our Mom, and us, with love and dignity. They were professional AND kind humans!
