BAD COMPANY This has been the worst customer service experience from any online company. I placed an order on 11-22-10 and a week later there website crashed. I called all 3 numbers and got the same answering machine, I left messages and never got a return call. I kept calling and eventually got some old lady who didn't know anything and then I got a male who told me to call another number. That number didn't answer so I called the other number back and the man said they got a virus but will have it fixed and order will go o... read more

Small but helpful I never take the time to post a review, but in this case I feel guilted into it. I tried to place a special order with 3 other art supply stores in Chicago, but none would take the order. The problem was that the manufacturer required $250.00 of merchandise in order to ship an order without a $50 handling fee. Starvin Artist placed an order around my special order to make the $250.00 threshold. The order took 2 months to get, but at least they did it. Great Art Store The Starvi' Artist has been in business forever (or so it seems). I have used them for everything from grade school clay projects to professional presentations. I always find what I need and don't mind paying a bit extra for it to help these guys stay afloat. The staff always are willing to give advice too. They can tell you if you should use acryllic paint or oil paint for a certain project, for example. It's a nice little store.
