I happened to do some work here, and just driving through... Looked beautiful. Plan to go back and take the family as soon as possible. For sure this fall.

Have been this state park near half a dozen times or more. Good place in good weather. Arrive early to complete hikes to canyons and viewpoints. Few small hikes located near visitor center. Eagle cliff, lovers deep, starved rock viewpoint are more common overlooks (under0.5-1mile each) (all are paved, staircases over wood) Canyon hikes to Aurora canyon, st louis canyon can be good when waterfall is there.
