If the 44 isnt going to stop to pick people up at the stops or can never run on tine you might as well just discontinue the route since its wasting money.
Replacing humans with AI has seriously ruined the reliability of scheduling rides and resolving issues. The AI system has been used long enough to have the problems worked out, yet it continues to be detrimental to the overall experience.
My sister, Susie and I have been using StarTran ParaTransit for over two year’s. We are grateful for this service and what it offers. ParaTransit provides more than transportation which is detrimental for health and social outings. They go beyond our expectations. They have trained professionals that work as a team. UPDATE: Startran has been going downhill fast thanks to poor management and nothing happens when people make complaints. The worst was when a blizzard hit Lincoln and only gave two hours notice of the shutdown (7 pm, and didn’t make it clear if the last buses would be leaving downtown at 7pm or all buses would be downtown by 7 pm), even though buses have run in worse conditions.
