Great BJJ gym and even better coaches and people. My husband has been training here for years and my daughter has been in kids class for the last year and loves it. I love that the sport teaches discipline and that there is a real sense of belonging in this place. Check it out, you won’t regret it!
I’ve trained all over the state and Brock Larson has the best gym around. Fantastic space and great instruction in a family friendly environment. Home to both professional fighters and moms/dads/kids looking to get in shape or learn self-defense.
Great academy. I have attended since 2020. After my first year, I switched to another place to try something else, and this showed me how truly superior the instruction at Start BJJ is. Ended up coming back to Start BJJ MN. And I am still training here to this day. Check them out, highly recommended. As a law enforcement officer, Jiu Jitsu learned from Start BJJ has helped keep me safe on the road, as well as helped teach our current and future police officers. 5 STARS!
Awesome Gym! All the coaches and members are as nice as they come! If you’re just starting out BJJ they are great at being informative and taking the right place, if you’re already a higher level they have some great competition in the room! Also have a great room of MMA fighters for MM classes and sparring nights! I whole heartedly believe this is the best gym in the state of Minnesota!!
Top tier instruction with Brock Larson! I have been attending for a year now and couldn’t imagine going elsewhere. We are also blessed to have Sam running many of the operations. The both of them have been extremely helpful. Thank you Start BJJ for an awesome experience.
