Ive always enjoyed going to stars of alaska. So much so that I purchased this chunk of "amber" from them a few years back as an anniversary present for my wife. We recently had it float and burn tested, and turns out it's a fake. I literally paid 200 dollars for a chunk of plastic and couldn't be more disappointed in this establishment. If you are looking for real gems and stones, this is not the place to go.

Friendly staff, great selection of ricks, minerals, and gems. Lots of Alaskan gifts. So much to see, a must visit in Anchorage.
