Starr has air-conditioned and heated one-dog indoor-outdoor runs in a building with just 4 to 6 other dogs whose company Emma enjoyed. Starr’s owners are aways on site with their home just steps away across the central area, and their resort acreage is all securely fenced. Emma, our beloved shy, spoiled-but-sweet Irish Goldendoodle, spent a lot of time playing with one of the owners in the large pet area, where he threw her toys and let her race around. Board at Your Own Risk. No Liabilities, No Insurance and the Owner May Have You Arrested. On June 17, the next to last day of boarding my Belgian Malinois puppy, Starr Pet Resort left a message on a phone number that I specifically had told them not to use informing me that my dog’s leg had been injured. I was able to retrieve the message and come back a day early to pick my dog up at the hospital where she had been left.
