Disappointed. After they “repaired” my outside unit it went down again two days later at the hottest point of the summer. When another company came out to fix it, they advised the capacitor they used was faulty and very cheap. Several weeks later I received an invoice for almost $500. If I have to pay this full invoice I may seek farther action. If not, I’ll remove the review.

DON'T CALL US, WE'LL CALL YOU. Our heatpump quit in mid July. The tech came, ordered the part and then we waited. After a couple of weeks I called to check on the part and they only let you talk to the receptionist, so each time I called she said she would check with the parts person and when it came in, she would call me. After a few weeks with the same answer, I ask to talk directly with the parts person. I tried that about three days in a row and then called the manufacturer myself. I had them to repair a heat pump 7-15/25 at my brother's house. The technician was there less than 20 min. He got it to running but this evening 7-16-25 my brother informed me that the fan on the outside unit had stopped again. In the meantime I received the invoice this morning and I paid it this morning $230. When I contacted their office I was informed that the technician said that he would not return because the "house was too dirty". I had a terrible experience with this heating and air conditioning company. A technician came out and inspected a heating unit, claiming there was no issue, despite two other contractors confirming otherwise. When I requested documentation of their findings due to the property being in escrow, I was told they couldn't provide any information in July, which made NO sense at all. Extremely disappointed in the ''service" provided by Starnes. Had a problem with a Generac generator and they were supposedly an authorized servicer of Generac so they were contacted. A young man arrived and spent two hours trying to figure out was was wrong without success. The Starnes man left with the assurance that he would contact Generac and have our problem fixed, another appointment was even made for a few days later. Two weeks later no word at all.
