My wife had an appointment with Dr. Melnik a few months ago, and I want to start by saying my wife is an incredibly understanding and kind person who is not easily offended. However, this experience left her furious. From the start, Dr. Melnik spoke to her in a condescending tone, dismissively stating that allergies were her only issue. I had an appointment with Dr. Melnik yesterday and i was very nervous about a nasal endoscopy. He made me feel relaxed and I didn't feel a thing! Dr. Melnik is a wonderful doctor with a great personality. I would recommend him highly.
Went in for an office visit for the ENT (Melnik) as I was having issues breathing clearly due to allergies. I received a whopping $700 bill in the mail for a “nasal endoscopy” which falls under surgery for my insurance. The light the doctor put in my nose for about 15 seconds total was, unbeknownst to me, a nasal endoscopy. Was never notified about this before it happened or before I left the visit.
