I was shocked to be charged $80 to get a sun dress hemmed an inch. Warning to all looking to get anything hemmed, or altered. There are plenty of tailors in the area that produce the same quality work for a fraction of that price. There was no transparency on if the dress was going to be treated like anything other than a regular dress being hemmed.
Just had to post to say thank you so much for starlight cleaners reopening their store when I came late to pick up a suit on Saturday that was needed on Monday morning. I didn’t realize the store closed at three that’s on me. And the seamstress was nice enough to open the door and to call over across the street where one of the owners or managers came over. reopened the store got my dry cleaning and reopened the register for me. Good place good service
When Theresa was there it was wonderful. I dropped a wrap there to have one end hemmed and they didn’t clean it or press it and they charged me $50!!!!! After I refused to pay it she said she would charge me $35. .It was a straight hem about 3 feet. When I got upset about the crazy price , she said , don’t you know prices have gone up a lot!!!!
