This place is an absolute nightmare. The owners are rude, unprofessional, and act like the rules don’t apply to them. They clearly don’t care about safety or their customers. The boats are poorly maintained — constantly breaking down, filthy, and nowhere near the standard you’d expect when paying good money for a rental. It’s obvious they cut corners on everything. On top of that, they completely disregard regulations and basic common sense. Save yourself the headache and rent from literally anywhere else.
1-Star Review I rented a pontoon boat from Starky’s in LBI for a birthday with 7 middle-schoolers, and it was by far the worst rental experience I’ve (we've all) ever had. The boat was completely unsafe, dilapidated, and quite frankly embarrassing for such a special occasion. Wow! Just went jet skiing for the first time at Starky’s with a giftcard I got for my birthday- Joe took myself and my 14 year old cousin out (as my passenger). He has the patience of a saint! He took such care of us as I learned how to operate the WaveRunner. Trust me when I say: listen to Joe and don’t be afraid to go fast. Going fast is the key to a safe and fun experience. Everyone at Starky’s was helpful and personable. We had a great hour with them. I can’t wait to go again soon.
Great time!! Joe was very helpful teaching our first-time jet ski driver! Would highly recommend Starky’s!
We walked right up and were able to get our family of 4 out on the water with jet skis. Super fun and nice group of guys running the place.
