I have mixed feelings about this place. Animal care is awesome! However the person that usually runs the front counter seems like she is confused most of the time with no desire to be there. Seems like she is just riding the clock waiting on quitting time. No sense of urgency what so ever!!!
Wonderful and very thorough
I took my 7year old fur baby Mohan there in June with something I thought could have been minor but the vet told me it was more serious. With honesty and compassion the Vet explained that exploratory surgery and mass removal could buy him more time, but my boy could pass on the surgery table and potentially not have much time left after the surgery. I have nothing but good things to say about Starke animal hospital..I was able to walk in without any appointment and have my dog seen pretty quickly.. The first lady that came in to speak with us was Nikki...I absolutely loved how well she treated my dog and how much she cared about me understanding what I could do to make his situation better.. .The doctor and her assistant was very thorough and kind but I would absolutely bring my dog back here because of how much I liked Nikki and the way she interacted with Jax.
