Did the stargazing yesterday. This was my favorite thing that I did while visiting Sedona. Thoroughly enjoyed getting to listen to Dr Schaffer’s Insights and learned a lot. Highly recommended. Book this.
Very well organized. The astronomers were knowledgeable and helpful..but it you had a picture in mind of the sky filled with stars then thisay not be it. One reason was also there was full moon. The astronomers said that it has to be a lot darker to enjoy that. We went in December. Be prepared for extreme cold temperatures
The photos on the website do not portray what you will see. I have a telescope at home and I stargaze on my own time but I was hoping this would show me something I couldn't see with my own telescope at home but that was not the case. I was hoping for actual surface views of the planets. But, the sky view is amazing in Arizona, the telescopes on sight are great quality and you also get binoculars to view other things in the sky while you wait to view the telescope images.
