The orange leather chairs are comfortable and staff is really friendly. I travel to present at Rutgers but every time I'm here the drinks are made well.

I’m a Rutgers student at 1 Washington (Newark), and often stop by StarBucks at that location for coffee after class. While I like the location, my last few visits were disappointing. The staff was talking so loudly, it felt like they forgot customers were even there, and the music was blasting. It was impossible to concentrate or have a quiet moment. I ended up taking my coffee to go because it was just too frustrating to stay. It’s a shame, because this spot could be a great place to relax or get work done if the atmosphere... read more

The staff was wonderful and the service was great. However, my only complaint was that the music was too loud. In fact, the factory speakers in the ceiling were playing and then the staff had really loud music from another system playing on top the store system. It just throw off the whole atmosphere.
