Stopped by this A.M. prior to visiting old college friends that live in Coronado. We were helped by Kimo -what a super employee! So nice and helpful. Good job Starbucks managers. The other employees were also sweet/friendly managing all the customers.
Rude service that insulted my name
I tried this location for the first time and was disappointed. When I walked in, I got shouted at from behind the counter. Apparently Starbucks requires that their employees shout “WELCOME IN!” to every person who enters the coffee shop. Ten years ago this wasn’t really a thing, but apparently now businesses think that it shows customer acknowledgement and good service. In reality it achieves the exact opposite.
