im a technician at starwest and i think people should understand we are working seven days a week until 2 and 3 in the morning to give people their dish network. i dont understand why making an appointment far in advance makes a customer think they can own us for the whole day they are scheduled to have their dish installed. that is why we fall behind and have to reschedule appointments. a customer should have their house ready when the technician arrives so we dont have to rearrange a closet, install a new tv, give away ext... read more
Called Star West on a satellite promotion installation. All was good until after getting all of my information they advise me of a $79.99 shipping and handling charge. I asked if Dish Network charged the same and the reply was "yes". Well after talking with Dish Network directly they informed me of no such charge involved with this setup. Strikes me as strange that they would lie about such a charge that is NOT on the postal flier.
