Garbage pumps. I purchased the pool pump at Lowes for almost $600. It laated about 4 years. It blew a capacitor to the point it melted the wire plastic around it. I have to open it completely to replace the capacitor from the inside and they are not willing to help. They just said if it was an electrical problem to replace it. They also ignored the fact that a capacitor exploded. As far as I know it should not do that. My previous Hayward pump lasted over 10 years. Stay away from their product. They sent me a water softener that was already technically out of warranty based on manufacturer date. They promised to support it anyway if I accepted it. The softener immediately started leaking on regenerations. They refused to do anything except send a link to a troubleshooting article to a 3rd party help guide. I would never buy another product from them.
