Long overdue, but here's the scoop. Blew my motor in f450, and im from vancouver island. Was recommended to star tech thru a local friend. Quote was accurate after fully replacing my motor, almost 1 year later still running strong. Great communication and trust being 2000km away. Thank you gentleman. Highly recommend Cheers Kent
New to Prince George and having starting issues with an old but usually very dependable 7.3 L F350. The team at Star Tech fit me in with next day service. Provided a great explanation of what they did and labour was very reasonable. A very good experience.
Needed a part and phoned, they said they’d have a look and couldn’t find anything(still got back to me)!! Great service
We had an issue with our 2007 Duramax’s exhaust filter. The sensors were showing it needed to be changed and GM no longer makes the part. Larry was able to fix the issue after several GM dealerships had failed. Our truck now has more power and running like new. He was also able to fit us in quickly and get us on our way as we were travelling to Alberta. Would highly recommend.
Shady garage with highly questionable business practices! Put our truck in for a suspected mod tuning issue, quoted at 1.5hrs of labour. Turns out it was a cracked EGR exhaust tube. No one called to update us of this finding or ask if we even wanted the work done. They then broke a bolt while doing unsanctioned work and charged us 12hrs in labour. Shop owner refused to adjust the quote claiming it took even longer. Do not recommend! Incompetence at best, predatory mechanics more likely.
