Star Petroleum has been a pleasure to work with. They took over my home heating oil service and installed a large propane tank. Both the sales and service side have been easy and painless. I had tons of questions about the propane tank and they were very patient and informative. They were quick to resolve a billing issue early on and have been very responsive to any service needs I've had. There are lots of choices and I've used several companies over the past 15 years, but Star has been great thus far.
Huge shout to to star! I have been using them since I moved into my new home about 4 years ago. I have had to call them a few times now when I have been in a pinch and every single time somebody was here to help the same day. Honest, reliable, family run business.
What a great company! Bobby is a great guy! I'm not even a customer and he helped me diagnose an issue with my heating system over the phone (after hours!!). When I finally got got a heating contractor to come out, Bobby's diagnosis of the issue was right. I only wished they serviced my area. To help someone out that is not their customer or in their area, speaks to the character of the company
I like this company; quick and efficient service. Each time I have called I have gotten good service Colleen is a doll. Needed a document sent to my email before I was even able to hang up... it was sent. Also, I like the fact that I don't have to call every month for a refill, they come automatically. When they come they are so quiet, don't even know they came into you see you receipt in the mailbox. Thanks for the service petro!!
I was a customer for two years until I needed my oil tank evaluated. My wife called in and was told that “unless the tank is actively leaking it‘s fine” and “just wait for it to leak”. In disbelief, I called to confirm what my wife was told. Some shrew of a lady over the phone said “I’ll tell you what I told your wife…” and basically repeated the same craziness! I called a real oil company who was able to actually evaluate the tank and we switched from Star Petroleum, never to return as customers.
