I’ve been eating at Star of India since they opened and they always do a fantastic job. My faves are the bhajia (with the tamarind sauce and mint chutney), tikka masala, kararra balti, and garlic naan. I’ve never had anything bad here. Highly recommend their food and the staff/service are also top-notch. They always remember my family when we go in and are so kind and welcoming.
My first time here and it did not disappoint. Great tasting food, good portion sizes and the wait staff was very attentive. Will totally be adding this to the rotation of restaurants!
Star of India is fantastic! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the servers were very polite and attentive throughout our visit. The food was delicious with generous portions, and the prices were very fair for the quality. This is one of my girlfriend’s favorite spots to eat, and after coming here it’s easy to see why. Highly recommend!
We went on Sunday for lunch before we headed back to mpls. Being the only Indian restaurant in town, decided to give it a try. We ordered the samosa, aloo, dhal soup, and the bread basket (garlic naan/peshwari/chappati) and also the beef briyani. Our server was very friendly and got our orders in. All the appetizers were great. The mint chutney was some of the best ones I have had. The beef briyani was a disappointment. It missed the mark. It did not taste like briyani at all.
